Crazy Ants

Here we go again, another day, another ant invasion. But these aren’t your ordinary ants, these are Crazy Ants, and they are slowly taking over the world. Or your house, whichever comes first. But seriously, these things are a problem. And not just a problem for you, but for the environment too.

Left unchecked, Crazy Ants can easily destroy local ecosystems. They’ve already done irreversible damage in parts of Hawaii, Australia, and Africa. So, what can we do about it? Well, for starters, we can try to rid our homes of them. But that’s easier said than done.

Crazy Ants are incredibly adaptable and quickly learn to avoid traps and poison. The best thing we can do is to try to keep them from coming into our homes in the first place. That means sealing up cracks and crevices and keeping food and other attractants sealed away.

It’s a never-ending battle, but it’s one that we must fight if we want to save our homes and our planet.

Preventing and controlling crazy ants starts with a full inspection. Measures such as exclusion to keep the ants from gaining entry into your home, as well as sanitation in your home such as removing exposed dog foods and other food items is a great start. In addition, replacing as many of the numerous situations that create idea nest sites as possible helps to eliminate the size of the ant populations.
